 El Paso Extravaganza Coming Fall 2025

Get ready for the 2025 El Paso Extravaganza! While we don’t have an official date yet, we are planning another unforgettable event in the Fall of 2025. Mark your calendars and plan your budgets to join us for an evening of excitement, inspiration, and philanthropy, all in support of higher education and mental health initiatives for our community.

Stay tuned for updates as we finalize the date and details for the 2025 Extravaganza. We promise an evening of laughter, entertainment, and opportunities to make a lasting impact.

Supporting Higher Education and Mental Health
Your participation in the El Paso Extravaganza has an even greater purpose this year. In addition to funding scholarships for deserving students in South and West Texas, we are proud to introduce a new initiative focused on addressing the growing need for mental health professionals in our communities.

The Stars Scholarship Fund and the LaMantia Family have launched a groundbreaking program, announced by Texas Senator and Stars Board Chairperson Morgan LaMantia, to support Master of Science in Social Work graduates aspiring to become Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs). This initiative provides significant financial and logistical support, covering the majority of supervision costs and essential training. By empowering culturally and linguistically competent mental health professionals, we aim to meet critical community needs.

With a $1 million pledge from the LaMantia family, the program will begin with a partnership at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in the 2024-2025 school year, supporting a cohort of 36 students. A second program in partnership with the University of Texas at El Paso is projected to launch in Spring 2025.
