McAllen, Texas (April 11, 2023) – Stars Scholarship Fund regrets to announce that Deion Sanders will not be able to attend our upcoming fundraising event as the special guest due to unforeseen circumstances. We understand that Deion’s presence was highly anticipated, and we share in the disappointment that this news brings.

However, we are pleased to announce that Michael Irvin has agreed to step in as the replacement special guest. Michael is a former professional football player and a well-known personality in the sports world. We are excited to have him join us and share his experiences and insights with our guests.

We would like to express our sincere apologies to those who were looking forward to meeting Deion Sanders at the event. We understand that his presence would have added significant value to the event, but we hope that the inclusion of Michael Irvin will still make the event enjoyable and meaningful for all attendees.

Colleen Wolfe, host of Thursday Night Football for NFL Network will continue as our evening’s discussion moderator as planned.

We are committed to providing an excellent fundraising event and appreciate your understanding and support during this time of change. We look forward to seeing all our donors at the event and making it a success.
