El Paso, Texas (May 22, 2023) – American country music singer and songwriter Nate Smith will be Stars Scholarship Fund’s special guest at the 2023 Extravaganza in El Paso on Friday, October 6, 2023.

Featuring a mix of gritty backwoods soul, rock ‘n’ roll swagger, and velvet-thunder vocals, Nate Smith’s personal journey inspired him to be a beacon of country-music hope, an inspirational mission he puts front and center. Nate Smith is accumulating many career milestones. His debut major label single, “Whiskey on You,” is a Platinum-certified multi-week No. 1 hit. Smith was nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2023 ACM Awards.

This year’s Extravaganza will be the first event Stars Scholarship Fund will hold post-pandemic and looks to bring guests an experience and insight that most people are not privy to. The Stars Extravaganza is a private event for sponsors. Local businesses are invited to support our initiatives by becoming sponsors of the El Paso Extravaganza. Our sponsors will enjoy the benefits of attending the Extravaganza, which includes a private performance by Nate Smith and cocktails, catered dinner, and a live auction.

Stars Scholarship Fund provides students from our community assistance in paying for college and helps them reduce debt and the stress that comes with financing a college education. A scholarship means that our recipients can stay focused on school and know that their community believes in their ability to succeed. Stars Scholarship Fund invites businesses and organizations to be a part of this vital and meaningful work to help students be successful in obtaining a college degree.

When supporting Stars Scholarship Fund, 100% of sponsor donations will be applied to student scholarships, as our operating expenses are largely covered by L&F Distributors. In addition, our partnerships with Texas colleges and universities enable Stars Scholarship Fund to have sponsor donations matched, allowing our funds to have a greater impact on our community.
