Matching Program – Stars Scholarship Fund

Although Stars Scholarship Fund recipients can attend any accredited college or university in the United States, Stars has chosen to establish partnerships with schools that serve a large percentage of students from our community.

Schools under the Matching Program have committed to fund a portion of the Stars scholarship offer. As a result, Stars must consult with these schools prior to awarding recipients. Both the school and Stars must agree on a list of recipients to represent each school for each cycle.

Recipients under the Matching Program benefit from the program in that Stars communicates continually and works closely with each school’s Scholarship and Financial Aid office, therefore recipients are provided with more assistance. In addition, because Stars makes a monetary commitment to each school under the Matching Program, it is guaranteed that students from these schools are offered scholarships each year.
