Dear Media Partners:

We hope you, your family, and your organization are in good health. As we navigate through this new normal, we are deeply aware of all the suffering and need that have been exposed in our community. We are humbled that we can continue our work and we hope your organization has not been negatively impacted by the pandemic either.

Although we had to make the difficult decision to cancel our events in 2020, through the generosity of our donors, Stars Scholarship Fund was able to raise more than $750,000 to help fund scholarships for students to attend the college of their choice for the 2020-2021 academic year. Once our funds were matched by our partner institutions, we awarded over $1.4 in scholarships to 712 students from south and west Texas. We hope you will join us in this vital and meaningful work.

As our community deals with personal loss and stress, we can no longer do business as usual. All of us will need help, and all of us will need to do our best to provide help to others. We are kindly asking for your support with in-kind media, similar to the support you have shown us in years prior.

We will be seeking monetary support from the community this year and would like to have the ability to recognize donors publicly via our media partners.
